Thanks to anyone who looked at the gallery.  I've not done any art for well over a year  and was feeling really uninspired.  I've just done my first piece for ages which I'll upload at some point.  It's a David Bowie tribute.  I really loved David Bowie and was truly devastated when he died.   I'm also starting another piece today which I've been looking forward to starting so maybe I've found a little inspiration at long last! I just hope that I can ride the wave whilst it's here.  Take care all -rich

Thank you if you favourite anything in my gallery.  I don't really use deviantART that often now as I prefer to submit work to smaller local based groups via facebook.   So I'll thank everyone here and now for any favourites.  I wish I could go around everyone and say 'thank you' but after been away for a month I've just logged in and found hundreds of feedback messages which I just can't respond to because I haven't got the hours in the day.   So thank you to anybody that favourited any of my works and I'm glad that you like the work.  Any comments are always appreciated and I will always answer them.  Thank you -rich

I've been very happy painting of late.  Usually landscapes, but with a little fantasy incorporated into the work.  I'm still hooked so I can't see myself stopping with this kind of theme for some time.  I used to do lots of work in pencils, but I've stopped doing that after I came to the realisation that drawing peoples portraits and fan art wasn't really a pleasurable way of expressing myself through art.  It became more of a chore then something I could truly relax with and enjoy. I felt I needed to do work which reflected myself, my inner thoughts and dreams.  So all of the paintings I have recently submitted are in essence myself on canva
